But take a look at what happen in the Lakedsitrict England...in 1820. A great striped beast kept the local fell hunts busy for months. Whatever it was killed 350 sheep, several foxhounds and wounded a couple of hunters. Oddly enough a tasmanian wolf from Wombrells circus had escaped earlier from Carlisle near the Scottish border. They eventually shot the animal and it had remained ...stuffed in the Keswick museum for many years, then it went missing, thought to be thrown away. It weighed in at 150 lbs. Its sheep slaying patterns were similar to those of the Tasy wolf...removing choice organs like the liver and heart and drinking blood etc.. check out Mauler by shawn williamson for further info...interestingly there is a cloning programme under away using DNA from pups preserved museums etc... “The Girt Dog”

I saw a large bird. It was 200 feet away. It caught my eye when it kind of swooped down from the top of a telephone pole toward the small paved county road to a carcass of some road kill. A car came by, and the bird flew back up to the top of the pole. It appeared to be nearly as tall as the pole. We watched for a couple minutes as the bird sat on the pole. We marveled at how big the bird was. The wing span seemed as long as the road was wide. When it flew back to the top of the pole, it seemed to flap lazily once to get there. It had a vulture like appearance. I always thought it was a California condor that had gotten off track looking for food or something. When I later read about the size of a large condor, I realized that I had seen something much larger. My wife saw it. My two small children saw it-I do not know if the kids remember it. I know that whoever was in that car probably saw it. I know that the measurements of height and wingspan might not be in perspective, but this is what I remember. However it was a gigantic bird flapping it's wings slowly in the air. So i was like holy shit do you see that and they were like holy shit also. Wich one person thought it was a flock of geese because there was alot out that night. But a flock of geese make noise. This bird did not .This huge bird atleast had a 14-17 foot wing spread,, now thats crazy. But this bird was amazing just a huge dark brown bird flying over u. Thats something to see ahha.
