Archaeologists from the University of Exeter have discovered the ruins of a Roman fort dating from the first century A.D.

Situated next to St Andrew’s Church, Calstock, the site is on top of a hill in an area known to have been involved with silver mining in medieval times. Regardless of what part of the world you live in, there are plenty of ancient mysteries nearby - maybe right in your back yard.
