Well more photos of the “Montauk Monster” have been published. Now these new photos look like they were taken at a totally different time of day than the original photo (and quite possibly with a different camera as well).

While we originally blurted out “turtle” - this obviously is not a turtle! Plus our commenter John pointed out how it could not be a turtle as a turtle’s spine is attached to its shell. Thanks for the information John!
